    This watermelon feta salad with balsamic glaze adds a rich, tangy sweetness to the classic combination of juicy watermelon and salty feta. It’s elegant enough for entertaining but still incredibly easy to make.


    🥗 Ingredients

    • 4 cups watermelon (cubed, chilled)
    • 150–200g feta cheese (crumbled or cubed)
    • Fresh mint leaves (or basil), torn
    • 1–2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 1–2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (or reduction)
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • Optional: pinch of salt

    1. Prepare the base
      Place chilled watermelon in a serving bowl or platter.
    2. Add feta
      Scatter feta evenly over the watermelon.
    3. Add herbs
      Sprinkle mint or basil for freshness.
    4. Dress lightly
      Drizzle olive oil over the salad.
    5. Finish with balsamic
      Add a light drizzle of balsamic glaze for a sweet-tangy kick.
    6. Season & serve
      Add black pepper, toss gently (or leave layered), and serve immediately.

    🍯 How to Make Balsamic Glaze (Optional)

    If you don’t have store-bought glaze:

    • Simmer balsamic vinegar in a small pan over medium heat
    • Let it reduce until thick and syrupy (about 8–10 minutes)
    • Cool before drizzling

    • Salty & creamy → feta
    • Fresh → mint
    • Rich & tangy → balsamic glaze
