Classic Southern-style deviled eggs with creamy yolk filling, mustard, mayo, relish, and paprika. Perfect for parties and holidays.

Ingredients

  1. 6 large eggs
  2. 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  3. 1 tsp Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
  4. 1 tsp sweet relish (optional but traditional)
  5. 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  6. Salt and pepper, to taste

  8. Paprika, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water.
    Bring to a boil, turn off the heat, and cover for 10–12 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to ice water and cool completely.
    Peel eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove yolks and mash them in a bowl.
    Mix with mayonnaise, mustard, relish, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pipe or spoon the filling back into the egg whites.
