Ingredients

  1. 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  2. 1 can (425g / 15 oz) pumpkin puree
  3. 1 cup evaporated milk
  4. 2 large eggs
  5. ¾ cup sugar
  6. 1 tsp cinnamon
  7. ½ tsp ginger
  8. ¼ tsp nutmeg
  9. ¼ tsp cloves
  10. ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, spices, and salt.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to 175°C (350°F) and bake 35–40 minutes until the center is set.
  6. Cool completely before slicing.
  7. Serve with whipped cream if you like!
