Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 can (425g / 15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cloves
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a bowl, whisk pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, spices, and salt.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 175°C (350°F) and bake 35–40 minutes until the center is set.
- Cool completely before slicing.
- Serve with whipped cream if you like!
