Easy, healthy, no-bake energy balls made with oats, peanut butter, and honey.

  • Total Time: 40
  • Yield: 20 balls

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

½ cup natural peanut butter

⅓ cup honey or maple syrup

½ cup mini chocolate chips

2 tbsp chia seeds (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Mix the Ingredients

  • Add oats, peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips, chia seeds, vanilla, and salt to a bowl.

  • Mix well until the texture becomes sticky and uniform.

2. Chill the Mixture

  • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to firm up the mixture.

  • This makes rolling easier.

3. Roll Into Balls

  • Roll mixture into balls, about 1 inch in size.

  • Place onto a tray or plate.

4. Store

  • Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Can be frozen for up to 3 months.

Notes

Swap peanut butter for almond butter or sunflower seed butter for nut-free schools.

Add-ins you can use: shredded coconut, raisins, dried cranberries, cocoa powder, or flaxseed.

If mixture is too dry → add a little more honey or peanut butter.

If mixture is too sticky → add 1–2 tablespoons oats and mix again.

Perfect for meal prep, kids’ snacks, or pre-workout fuel.
