Ingredients
- Brownie Layer
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- Tiramisu Cream Layer
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese, softened)
- ½ cup heavy cream, whipped
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tsp instant espresso powder (dissolved in 1 tbsp warm water)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla, and espresso mixture until smooth.
- Gently fold in whipped cream.
- Spread tiramisu cream over cooled brownies.
- Chill for at least 1 hour, then dust with cocoa powder before slicing.
Notes
- Brownies must be fully cooled before adding the cream layer.
- Adjust espresso strength to taste.
- Chill overnight for cleaner slices and deeper flavor.
- Store refrigerated for best texture.
