Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 4–6 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup milk (any type)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt (optional for extra creaminess)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Soak dates in warm water for 5–10 minutes if they are firm.
- Add bananas, dates, milk, yogurt, and vanilla to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add ice or more milk to adjust thickness.
- Pour and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a vegan version, use almond, oat, or coconut milk + plant yogurt.
- Add peanut butter, almond butter, or chia seeds for extra protein.
- Use frozen bananas for a thicker milkshake-like texture.
- Cinnamon or cardamom adds warmth and flavor.
